YouthCan IMPACT Study
The YouthCan IMPACT team is conducting a research project to evaluate the benefits of the Integrative Collaborative Care Team approach and to compare the effectiveness of Integrative Collaborative Care Teams to hospital outpatient psychiatric services. The study will focus on youth aged 14 to 18 and will be coordinated by the McCain Centre for Child, Youth & Family Mental Health at CAMH.
The study was launched with the financial support of the Ontario SPOR SUPPORT Unit (OSSU), which is supported by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research and the Province of Ontario. Separate funding was received from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research in 2019 to extend the study. The study is also supported by philanthropic donors.
